Midweek Lenten Worship for the rest of the Lenten season will be on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM. Every week we’ll have a time of worship and Holy Communion. This year’s focus is on prayer. If the weather is bad, you can join us live on Zoom or YouTube. You will find information at our church website, mclutheran.com. Midweek Lenten Dinners will be at 5:15 PM on Tuesdays evenings in the Ministry Center.
Palm Sunday Worship and Elders’ Breakfast will be March 24. On this day we remember the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem and was hailed as the King of the Jews. Our school children will be singing at the 9:30 AM worship service.
Maundy Thursday Church Fellowship Meal and Communion Service March 28 at 6:00 PM. The early church would have fellowship meals to spend time together as a church family. This year we will have a fellowship meal as we remember the last night of Jesus’ life. This will be a community dinner: the church will supply the main dish; you bring a salad, bread, side dish or dessert. There is a sign up sheet in the lobby (Narthex) of the church. We’ll meet in the Ministry Center and end the meal with a time of worship and Holy Communion.
Good Friday Worship will be March 29 at 6:30 PM. On Good Friday we’ll have a very special service with our Church Choir singing to remember the day Jesus was crucified, suffered and died on the cross to pay for our sins. “It is Finished.”
Easter Sunday Celebration! March 31. 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM Weather permitting, our Church Choir and Chime Choir will help us celebrate! Egg hunt for the kids after the 9:30 service at 10:45 PM. If weather interferes with church, join us online at mclutheran.com.
