Food Pantry
Members stock a small food pantry on the side of the Ministry Center for anyone who needs nourishment in our church or local community.
2nd Saturday Food Distribution
Every second Saturday, Mt. Calvary provides food for approximately 30 families and individuals in our Ministry Center.
Hospital
Help Pastor Buecheler with visiting the sick in our area hospitals or home bound. Pastor Buecheler is head chaplain at Mountains Community Hospital.
Rotary Polar Plunge
The Rotary Club of Lake Arrowhead is hosts its annual PolaRotary Bear Plunge at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa Beach. Styled after fundraising walk-a-thons, volunteers dive into the freezing cold waters of Lake Arrowhead to raise money for the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation AND their favorite charitable organization. Previous years have raised $25,000 for charity! Those who jump can choose to split the money they collect between the Rotary Foundation and another charity of their choice. Thrivent Action Teams
If you are a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans you are able to receive two $250 debit cards for a Community Service or church project of your choice. The intent is to bring people together to take action and help others. It’s not about gifting money. If you prefer directing dollars to an eligible organization, rather than giving your time by leading a project.
